I note that the Scottish Conservatives have launched a new website today, and also unveiled their new logo.
Isn’t it prutty
The problem with symbols, is that sometimes they depict more about about us, than what we conciously say.
And this logo is a perfect example of that.
The arrangements of these sticks,is in a fashion which represents their unionism, leaning heavily on the Union Jack British colours mixed with the lighter blue colour of the Scottish flag, with the red colour taking the upper position on top of the Scottish Blue. which sets out where they see the dominance coming from.
The other thing about this logo, is that it is two crosses, one laid on top of the other, so that signifies that they do like double crossing you, does it not?
It will be very interesting to see what Labour come up with next? A version of this symbolism I would suggest, seeing as they are so closely intertwined these days.
The new conservative website is bog standard banality, but I did note one thing. To show how remarkably well they are doing in Scotland, they are not only advertising for new members, but they are pleading for new candidates! Just click the appropriate buttons if you are daft enough!

Seeing as how the new???? Scottish Tory symbol is of the double cross perhaps any new Labour symbol will be of the TRIPLE cross.
hadn’t given any thought to the position of the red and blue, but you are right, Scotland, as always, is seen as beneath them.
They couldn’t have picked a more apt logo.
A double cross.
