Scottish Weather forecast

I despair..I really do!!
I have been complaining loudly about the incompetence of the Labour and Conservative opposition in the Scottish parliament for some time, their abuse and name calling, which they laughingly call debate.
But, it seems my complaints are falling on deaf ears.
But, just as I thought they surely couldn’t get much worse, they go into silly season overdrive.

Johann Lamont, Leader of the Scottish branch of the Labour party, today at First Ministers Question time actually came out with the following question, when she asked the First Minister:
“What will the weather be like in an Independent Scotland?”

Really..She DID!!
You coulnae make this stuff up!!

So..I thought I would have a bash at the following:

Coming to you today, all the way from Holyrood.. The Scottish Weather Forecast and news report

The weather forecast for 2016 will bring a depression coming from the South, caused by a weather system which has caused untold panic at the structural financial damage caused in the district of Westminster in the neighbouring rUK. There have been reports of Scottish liberal and labour politicians having been made homeless in the area.We also are hearing reports up here in a remarkably balmy Scotland, that these political refugees are seeking shelter North of the border. Meanwhile their counterparts in Scotland say they are exceedingly reluctant to give them house room. Seemingly they carry some virus from being exposed to an alien parent body for too long.
Further reports also tell us, that a number of Lordly ladies and gentlemen have instead refused to move, and are barricading themselves in for the long stay at Old Folks home in Westminster.
It is uncertain at this time,as to how many are still alive, as a number of them have been sleeping on benches in the establishment for many years, and show little or any sign of life.
The ones who still seem to be active, if somewhat demented, are all saying that they cannot leave, for they have no other place to go to, and having departed their original homeland generations ago, say they are completely unwilling to travel back to a country they no longer recognise or call home. Indeed, there is no Old Folks home for them to transfer to, even if they so desired to relocate.

Although the weather in Scotland is showing a warmth it has previously been unaccustomed to..The Southerly depression will peter out long before it can cause any needless concern here.
Warm fronts are coming in from all areas of the world, some even coming from Arctic regions.
Wind and rain however, is as usual, taken as a matter of course, so we can expect some areas of turbulence in our weather, but long term forecasts for the future remain positive.
Of course the wind and tides will always be welcome to our fledgling but increasingly successful non nuclear power generation and green energy.
The economic forecast is also welcoming, in that it predicts steady growth and sustained stability and further good will towards Scotland as we progress forwards re-establishing our old trading connections, and welcoming new ones.
The future may be bright, but it is not Orange, it’s Scottish.

About auldacquaintance

I am not a member of any political party. I am however a strong supporter of Scots Independence. Any views which I express in this Blog are purely my own. This Blog intends to be a place where I will be putting my views on Scots Independence. It will primarily concern itself with the upcoming Referendum In Scotland. However It will also be somewhat diverse in the range of day to day issues which are evident to me in modern day Scotland. Not all of it will be political, and indeed may take me off into avenues I am not even aware of yet. Please come and join in on this journey, and any comments are welcome provided they are not abusive! All the best from a new acquaintance! Rod

Brilliant! I witnessed today’s FMQs with a nagging fear, and that is that apart from the SNP, are there any politicians worthy of the name, who can act as a decent opposition in an independent Scottish government, for if there are, they are currently doing a good job of hiding themselves.
The First Eck was able to demolish all before him, but a bit like swatting flies!

Yes, it is scary to have the Gulliver and Lilliputian (travels ? travails) show every week. Lamonte reads her script, spits out a few playground insults and then a lie or out of context statement from the good folks at the Westminster press and propaganda club.
KiickBox lady then goes on a verbal rampage involving many, many lines in the sand as she seems to forget that the tides wash that stuff away on a regular basis but that her boss in London fails to inform her of this fact. And finally Wullie (I drew the short straw) Rennie as the last political sacrificial in the opposition. I wonder are these the characters who will rally their troops to man the walls of the Death Star/Westminster I

Vote YES for the best result.

Can’t help feeling that there are many sitting quietly knowing the way the wind’s blowing and already packed and ready to jump ship. On Labour’s side there has never been more than half a dozen participants at FMQ, if that. Tory can claim about four and lib-dums two or three.

It’s guaranteed alternative independent based plans are well prepared and waiting for the moment.
