Westminster Labour MP Calls for the Removal of Scottish Labour from Scottish Parliament

A remarkable development has occurred in the late night, last night. Tom Harris on his Twitter Account (You know how he Loves to Twitter) has called for the removal of all Labour MSPs from the Scottish Parliament.
I was lucky enough to spot it, and Immediately copied it down.
Here is what he said:

Tom Harris ‏@TomHarrisMP

With barely any govt legislation coming up, why don’t they bring forward a full ban on wild animals in circuses? Labour would support it.

There we have it…The Easiest way to stop all their wild behaviour in Holyrood, is to remove them.
The presiding officer could be rather busy, but the noise could also be quite unbearable..We have heard the racket created, by the mere one day suspension of Michael McMahon…Imagine the Hellish Din, removing them all.
Perhaps the most humane thing we can really do, Is simply wait till the next election, and quietly exercise our vote.

NOTE: Just for clarification.
Mr Harris’s Tweet is genuine…However, I have just had some fun with it, suggesting he was talking about Holyrood.
In actuality, it is in reference to supporting the Conservative Government,in Westminster, should they bring forward such legislation,Labour would happily support it.
We all know that is couldn’t possibly be about the Scottish Parliament, as while Labour frequently cosy up with their Tory pals in Westminster…Hell would freeze over before they supported any SNP legislation in Holyrood, even if Labour desperately agreed with it.

This Blog intends to be a place where I will be putting my views on Scots Independence. It will primarily concern itself with the upcoming Referendum In Scotland. However It will also be somewhat diverse in the range of day to day issues which are evident to me in modern day Scotland. Not all of it will be political, and indeed may take me off into avenues I am not even aware of yet. 1. “Labour would support it” who is he kidding,we all know that if a bill was proposed by the SNP to give Labour any 50 seats as a starter for the next election they would vote against it.

    • In this instance he was in actuality talking about Westminster…I just made fun of it..
But, seriously Labour would support the government there..Because its the Tories..they don’t seem to have any problem with supporting them!

Is Tom Harris REALLY aware of Labour policy?
    I have my doubts myself.

Can you imagine the absolute hysterical chaos in the chamber at Holyrood if the SNP brought forward such a bill?
Despite what Tom Harris claims I have serious doubts that Labour would allow ANY of their M.S.P.’s to vote for such a bill. We must always remember that the reason detre of Labour is to OPPOSE everything that the SNP does or promotes. These are not my words but my paraphrasing of a certain Mr. Bain.

Best idea I think would be for Mr. Harris to have a “wee chat” with Mr. Bain before coming out with any more “ideas”. Any way we like things just the way they are thank you. Labour are imploding day after day, and I’ve just come across this tweet from Angus McNeil “Just had an FB message that due to disgust with Labour Wrecking Tactics at Holyrood SNP likely have a new member. ”

Ah, SLAB best advertising policy the SNP EVER came up with. 😆

Aaaaaand that is why they’re out of power and losing the public trust as a party of government right there in a nutshell. No policy, endemic corruption in the big hooses in Glasgow and Westminster, tribal warfare televised weekly in FMQs and a leadership with the statesman like qualities of Spongebob Squarepants on crack. So wrapped up in their naked hatred of the SNP, the YES campaign and all it stands for, they seem completely unaware of spectacle they are making of themselves. To all intents and purposes they are blind to the needs of their own electorate and fondly imagine that no one is noticing the monomania.

  4. Arbroath1320 says:

They have one problem Macart. For some inexplicable reason they seem to figure that the Independence campaign is being led by the SNP and so they spend their whole time attacking the SNP.

They are so blinded by their in built hatred of the SNP that they can not see beyond this hatred into the real world where everyone knows that the Independence campaign on the YES side is PEOPLE driven NOT politically driven. Labour don’t do people driven concensus they only do LABOUR driven concensus, namely “Do as we say not as we do.”

Well let they keep going down this blind alley I say.

Iread a tweet from Angus MacNeil last where he said that he’d received a post on his FB page from some one who used to vote Labour but after watching the continual “hysterics” of FMQ’s they have given up on Labour and it appears they may have joined the SNP. (My paraphrasing from my poor memory. :D)

Could this be the start of a small stream that will lead eventually to a flood of ex Labour voters maybe?

Keep doing what you’re doing Lamont, you’re doing a GRAND job! 😆
