While I recover..Some I did earlier ….

You don’t know your GDP from your ERM?
It’s all so much uncertainty, so many unanswered questions?
It helps if you know who to ask.
None of us have ALL the answers for life the Universe and everything
We Can’t tell you what you will have for breakfast tomorrow
That is up to you to decide, nobody can tell you what you want
You have to be able to make that choice for yourself
But we can say that It will be YOUR Choice, YOUR Say
We are sure you know better what you want, not somebody else deciding for you
But for any other questions, we can but do our best to help you answer
Just Ask for YES Scotland, you may well be pleasantly surprised
Full Scottish Breakfast anyone? Or would you rather the Vegetarian Option?
The Choice is Always Yours! YES.

Pensioned Off

Many people ask, what happens to their pension when Scotland becomes Independent?
The simple answer is that they will get their pension, and it will be at the very least equal to what they would expect now.
Do you know that most of Europe treats it’s pensioners much better than the UK does?
The Netherlands currently has the 2nd worst State pension in Europe, but pays double the UKs, and what do they produce? Not Oil..Tulips.
Thistles might not look as nice on your table, but Scotland can at least look after our ain folks well.
Nobody can tell you at this point how much you will have, but we aspire to do more.
The UKs biggest problem is paying for the increasing size of It’s elderly population currently standing at 10.3million aged 65+, almost double the whole population of Scotland.
Scotland would have no such problem,we are smaller but at the least equally as wealthy, so we can do better in meeting your retirement needs. We would all want that..Wouldn’t we?

The Union Isn’t Working, What’s that to do with the price of bread?

It’s got a quite a lot to do with the price of bread actually.Have you been visiting the shops recently, the price increases at nearly every visit. The UK hasn’t worked for Scotland in years. But I can see that you are happy with your lot, after all we have been promised jam tomorrow..again!
Alex Douglas Home told Scots to vote “NO” for a better deal in 1979.
It’s the same jam!

I am not a member of any political party. I am however a strong supporter of Scots Independence. Any views which I express in this Blog are purely my own. This Blog intends to be a place where I will be putting my views on Scots Independence. It will primarily concern itself with the upcoming Referendum In Scotland. However It will also be somewhat diverse in the range of day to day issues which are evident to me in modern day Scotland. Not all of it will be political, and indeed may take me off into avenues I am not even aware of yet. Please come and join in on this journey, and any comments are welcome provided they are not abusive! All the best from a new acquaintance! Rod

    Jam tomorrow?

No thanks, I’ll happily give that particular pot a miss. No-one seems willing to tell me what flavour it will be. Probably some sour concoction of damsons if it actually exists outside the darling’s mind!

Think I’ll trot down to the bank now and pay my first instalment on Danny Alexander’s £1.00 per annum for independence. Indeed, I may even push the boat out and pay first five years worth!!

Never ceases to amaze me how ill informed the average Joe P. is on our wealth. Even in northern Europe we are surrounded by countries of comparable and even smaller size, with less resource to call upon and comparable output, but they put up with running their own show just peachy.

Even setting all our actual and potential wealth generation to one side, why would you constantly require to have all of your most important decisions taken by your next door neighbour? I don’t think you should spend your cash on a family MPV, you’re going to spend it on a flash monocoque roadster with dodgy electronics and only gets 12ml to the gallon, but what a ride! You really should cut your borders to be just like mine neighbour, makes it look like one big garden and we’re best buds after all. Tell you what bud, you just give your pay packet to me and I’ll invest it wisely on our behalf. It’s a surefire winner in the 3.30 at Ayr name of Mr Ed.

So you wouldn’t let your neighbour pick your car, alter the landscaping of your land or invest your hard earned cash in get rich quick schemes. Seems to me we’ve been doing that for decades without asking any questions whilst allowing the recipient of all that wealth tell us we’re too wee, too poor and too stupid to handle it.

    • Ignorance..deliberate or otherwise is our greatest enemy.. And you have to hand it to the British State and Media..They have done a phenomenal job of maintaining ignorance amongst some of the masses

The Goebbels school of information – tell a big enough lie, keep repeating it……… ad nauseum.

We’ll get there AA. Folks like your good self and others are doing a great job of getting the facts out there. Keep it up.
