Clowns to the left of me,Jokers to the right

Here we are once more in the middle of more electioneering and campaigning.
It hardly seems that we get any break from it at all these days. But here we go again once more.
Only this time, It really does look as If it is going to be quite mental..If the last few days are anything to go by, we aint seen nothing yet.

We have the Euro In Out hokey Cokey,and we have the Scottish Government election in a few weeks time. The Scottish local Council elections which were due to be this year, have been postponed to May of next year.

Already it has all kicked off.. The Conservatives with knives drawn and for a change not only after our blood, but seemingly lusting for each others blood in some sort of cannibalistic orgy that only the Blue Tories can do so well.

IDS falling on his sword but taking down Cameron and Osborne with him as he resigned… We are all in it together, they repeatedly told us when they planned their cuts to save our economy. Well, they are all in it together says Smith, but not for our benefit, but for theirs and their pals while they regally shaft everyone else.
Now watch as the Europhiles and Eurosceptics rip each other to pieces…It will be an entertaining side show.
Given that ordinary folks barely ever bother their bahookies voting in the European elections when they come around, it will be a hard job enthusing them to come out for this referendum.

That’s the jokers on the right taken care of, so what about the clowns to the left of us?
For the moment I am quite sure that the Westminster Labour party will be quite happy watching their brethern in the Blue Tories rip each other to pieces. It makes a change from the animosity bubbling under the surface for the moment, Between Corbyn supporters and the Blairite faction….But it will all kick off again in due course I am sure.

The Red Tory branch office has its own election to fight, with Kezia Dugstail making a lovely mess of it as usual. Already she has come out with the classic phrase ” Scotland is only a word” Her new campaign office with a Big Vote Kezia, Vote Labour sign on it, is in a premises which previously had another big sign above the door ” Stir Crazy”.
Stir Crazy seemingly was a fancy dress shop…..I can just see Kezia and co with false moustaches and dressed up as Wurzels and Aunt Sally’s shortly.

Isn’t it something to behold though, that Westminster should deign to hold the Euro referendum so it clashes with the Holyrood campaign, thus ensuring in the BritNat tv and media , very little coverage is made of the Scottish Election. Can we ever imagine them doing such a thing to compete with the Westminster election….no of course not!
but Scotland really is a valued partner you know. Aye Right!

In the midst of all this, there is saltire on saltire attacks going on….as the smaller Indie parties compete with each other and the SNP for the second vote…. Best try to keep it civil folks.. We will all have to work together again soon!

Personally, I am at odds with all the Vote me for 2nd votes….
I firmly believe that you should vote the way you feel, not because somebody else tells you to… It will all work out in the end.

Strangely enough…my focus is not so much on either the Euro referendum or the Holyrood election…although I am taking a keen interest.

I am already looking ahead to next year…because once this election is over,and I fully expect SNP to come out on top, it would be a massive shock of even greater than Tsunami levels if they didn’t.
I am looking to the Council elections….
Why so?
Because the SNP have already breached Holyrood, and remarkably Westminster….the thing that will really push us fast forward to Independence is the councils.
We need to make a huge concerted effort next year.. We have to make the Council turn outs larger than at any time in their history….and we have to claim them!

If we do not… The Red Tories and Blue Tories will gang up again to run these councils, and stymie Scottish government policies at every opportunity.

A clean sweep of Councils, Holyrood, and Westminster representation…..and Scotland is ours!

We then cannot be stopped… we will have our Independence.
